Then don’t miss the debate between BHS Young Democrats and BHS Young Republicans tomorrow afterschool in Little Harvey. Seating starts at 3:00, so grab a good seat for an interesting conversation between the two clubs.
FCA, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, meets today during both lunches outside of Harvey Auditorium. Come hear some encouraging words while you eat free pizza. Yes, free pizza. You do not need to be an athlete or a Christian to attend. All are welcome to hear the Good News.
Congratulations the Varsity Boys Basketball game for winning the Lloyd Williams Kern Schools Fed. Credit Union Basketball Tournament on Saturday December 9 defeating Liberty 64-58 in the championship game.

Spring Sports Packets are now available. If you plan to participate in Swim, Dive, Softball, Boys Tennis, Boys Golf, Baseball, Track and Field please pick up a sports packet in the SAB and return it with a current sports physical before January 8, 2018 conditioning begins. Official practice begins on January 22, 2018 if you participated in a sport for Fall or Winter Mrs. Chaidez has a copy of your physical. If you are currently participating in a Winter Sport program pick up and turn in a packet so Spring coaches know you are planning to participate.
ROC Tour is on Thursday, January 25th for interested juniors and motivated sophomores. Sign up for the ROC tour in the Career Center at Mrs. Sanchez' Desk.
Seniors: FAFSA and Dream Act applications are due on March 2. Stop by the career center to pick up information. Next Cash for College Night will be January 17th from 4-8PM.
Fall Athletes: Please turn in your equipment and uniforms in to the Trainer, Stephanie Smith, ASAP. It is your responsibility to make sure all items are checked in and your debt screen shows no outstanding balance so there are NO surprises at the end of the year. The Trainer can be reached in the trainer’s office upstairs near the girl’s gym during lunch each day. Cross Country, Football, Girls Tennis, Volleyball, and Girls Golf.
If you played football at ANY point this season and still have gear out please collect it and bring it to Stephanie. Failure to do so will result in a charge on your debt screen of up to $700.

Cal SOAP representatives are on campus Monday-Thursday in IT 103. They are here specifically to help students in any grade navigate the college process. Please feel free to sign up in IT 103 to see them. If you receive a call slip in one of your classes from them, please make the effort to meet with them. You won’t regret it!

The BHS Library is now open after school every Monday through Thursday from 2:45-5pm. Check out books, work on homework, study, or use the computer lab!
