New Business:

Homecoming spirit week is here! This year's theme is "Stay Tooned Drillers" and each class is representing a classic cartoon from the past! Today is “Scooby Squad” Day—get your whole squad together and plan matching outfits.  Friday is Blue & White Day for the all-school Homecoming rally 2nd period in the stadium! 

Art Club is NOW selling “Ghost Cartons!” For only $5 dollars you can get a hand-made “Ghost Carton” filled with a special Halloween treat! Art Club members will be selling them for the couple of weeks and then you can pick up your special treat in SH101 Monday, Oct. 30th and Tuesday Oct. 31st! Buy one today for your special ghost or goblin! J

If you are interested in playing tennis please attend a very important meeting on October 24th during your lunch period in the SAB...Information will be given in regards to practice and fundraisers. We will be starting a fundraiser immediately....

Anyone interested in joining the wrestling team see Coach Lomas is E-4, or Coach Olejnik at Boys PE Office.

Interested in the California state thespian festival? Confused about the festival? Want to compete in a theatrical event? Never heard of the California state thespian festival? Come to Auditorium 101 Friday October 20th for about an hour after school to get info about this year's state festival.

Love thrifting? Looking to get rid of a lot of clutter? The Theatre department will be holding a yard sale at 2312 Tovar Court on October 21st from 10am to 3pm. Feel free to bring any donations to the sale to Auditorium 101, all sales will benefit the drama department. Come down to the yard sale the 21st and see what gems you might find in the junk!

It’s finally October! Which means Halloween is closer than you think! Looking for something sweet for your sweetie? Looking for something ooky-spooky for you boo? The Drama Club will be selling Halloween-grams every Friday in October at both lunches. Grams will be $3 and will include a spooky note, a bag of candy and a spooky surprise for whoever you send it to on Halloween.


Fall Athletes--  if you are currently playing a fall sport and want to participate in a Winter Sport  please see Mrs. Chaidez for a sports packet.   I have your physical. 

Attention Boys’ basketball players:  Conditioning has begun.  We will meet on the science field.  You must be cleared through the SAB if you want to participate.  If you have any questions, see Coach Burt in the boys PE office. 

Drillers if you plan to participate in a Winter Sport –Basketball-Soccer or Wrestling please pick up a sport packet in the SAB and return it with a current physical. You cannot participate without a sports packet on file.  See Mrs. Chaidez in the SAB.    

Are you planning to go to college after high school? Are you worried about all the steps it will take to prepare, apply and pay for college? Then we have just the right people for you! Cal SOAP representatives are on campus Monday-Thursday in IT 103. They are here specifically to help students in any grade navigate the college process. Please feel free to sign up in IT 103 to see them. If you receive a call slip in one of your classes from them, please make the effort to meet with them. You won’t regret it!

The BHS Library is now open after school every Monday through Thursday from 2:45-5pm. Check out books, work on homework, study, or use the computer lab!
