New Business:

Yearbooks are still available to purchase in the finance office, before school, during lunch and after school.  $90 cash only. 

Are you interested in having fun and getting 10 elective credits, right by Morro Bay?  We’re talking July 8th to July 15th.  You would participate in rocketry, navigation, and team-building courses in leadership reaction and obstacle, high ropes and obstacle courses, to name just a few.   The cost is 150 dollars that covers dormitory, physical fitness clothing and 3 meals a day.   If you are interested, contact Major Fink for more information.

All girls interested in playing basketball for the Lady Drillers next season needs to go see Coach Shehee in SH9 today!!

Library books are due back to the library before the end of the school year. Please drop your books off in the book depository outside the library doors or inside the library. The library is open 7:00a.m.- 5:00p.m. If you keep a book past its due date, you will incur fines. Book due dates are on the green "Date Due" card in the back of the book. Check out our Mackinvia link on the library homepage for free electronic book check out to your personal device over the summer.

Students who did not receive their school photos which were distributed in English classes this week can check in the SAB during free time.

Trainer Stephanie Smith will be at the flagpole daily for senior check out and athletic equipment return.

Adventist Health Bakersfield/San Joaquin Hospital is looking for volunteers for Fall/Winter. Pick up an application from Ms. Sanchez in the Career Center.

Sports Packets are available in the SAB for Summer (BASEBALL AND BASKETBALL) and all Fall sports -- Football - Volleyball- Girls Tennis- Girls Golf -Cross Country during passing periods, lunch and before/after school. Please plan to turn the packets in early to Mrs. Chaidez in the SAB as you will not be allowed to participate in conditioning without a current physical and packet on file.

Seniors – Senior Sunset will be held tonight from 6:30 – 9 pm in Elm Grove. Senior Sunset is FREE if you sign up in the SAB in advance! BBQ provided by Uncle’s BBQ. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, Frisbees, etc. and hang out with your friends as we say goodbye to senior year. If you don’t sign up in advance the cost of the BBQ is $5 the night of the event.

OLD NEWS:

From the dean office.  Dress Code.  As the weather get warmer remember that tube tops and shirts that show mid drift are not allowed.   You will be sent to the dean’s office.

Football and Cheer photos recently retaken are in the SAB. Please pick up during passing periods or during lunch.

GET Bus YOUTH Summer Pass is $20. Students must visit website. Pick up flyer in Career Center.

 

The library now has extended hours and will be open early in the morning at 7:00am until late in the evening at 5:00pm every day. That's right, every day even on FRIDAY. Come to study, read, relax, or use the computers. The library is located on the top floor of Spindt Hall.

 

Plaques, certificates and pins from the recent Winter Sports Awards are in the SAB. Please use your passing period or lunch time to pick them up.
