SENIOR ACTIVITIES INFO:
SENIOR SHIRTS & SWEATSHIRTS: Our spring round of senior shirt and sweatshirt orders have arrived! Senior shirt orders will be available for pick up from the attendance office, Monday-Friday during normal business hours, 7:30am-3pm.
SENIOR YARD SIGNS: Class of 2021 yard signs are on sale for $20 each on our new online student store page. Click here to purchase online >>> https://kern.graystep.com/. Yard signs can be picked up from the attendance office window from our student store manager, Mrs. Dyatt on Tuesdays from 7:30am-3pm. Please email Mrs. Dyatt at: teresa_dyatt@kernhigh.org if you need to arrange a different pick-up day and time.
SENIOR YARD SIGN PREVIEW:
Jostens will be on site selling cap and gown packages for $27.50, cash only, this Friday, April 23rd during cap and gown distribution.
HOW TO ORDER YOUR CAP & GOWN:

Please call or visit the local Jostens office located downtown at 1612 20th Street by Dagny's Coffee shop. Jostens is open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, from 3-6pm.

IF YOU PLAN TO USE A CAP & GOWN FROM A FORMER GRADUATE: You must still order the correct tassel for your graduation year, 2021. Call Jostens at 661-324-8529 to order a tassel.

IF YOU PLAN TO BORROW A CAP & GOWN: You do have the option to borrow a cap & gown at no charge but you must select that option (listed in red) on the order form.
***REMEMBER--YOU MUST HAVE A CAP & GOWN TO PARTICIPATE IN THE GRADUATION CEREMONY. DO NOT DECORATE YOUR CAP. PER KHSD, CAPS MAY NOT BE DECORATED PRIOR TO THE COMMENCEMENT CEREMONY. AFTER GRADUATION, YOU CAN DECORATE ALL YOU WANT!
SENIOR PORTRAIT INFO: Carlos Murillo Photography is the contracted senior photographer for Bakersfield High School. The final deadline to take pictures with Mr. Murillo and have your portrait in the yearbook was JANUARY 22ND, 2021. If you have any questions about senior portraits, please contact the Yearbook Advisor at: anna_lovan@kernhigh.org.
SENIOR QUOTES FOR THE YEARBOOK: You must have taken a senior portrait in order to have a senior quote in the yearbook. Seniors quotes are limited to roughly one sentence in length and must be school appropriate. Quotes that are deemed inappropriate will not be used in the yearbook. The senior quote deadline was JANUARY 29TH.
SENIOR RECOGNITION ADS FOR THE YEARBOOK: So sorry we missed you! Unfortunately, the deadline to purchase a senior ad in the yearbook ended February 11th.
